TangenX Technology Corporation is a subsidiary of Novasep, a leader in the Life Sciences industry. We have partnered to provide state-of-the-art ultrafiltration and microfiltration products to our customers in the Biopharma, Biotech and Life Sciences industries from lab to process scale.

We are experienced in the science and art of membrane manufacturing. Our company is dedicated to developing high-performance membranes and membrane-based products that yield successful results time after time for your critical applications. We work hand-in-hand with our customers to provide them with preferred membrane chemistries and molecular weight cutoffs that satisfy specific application requirements. Not all membrane companies are flexible enough to offer this type of customization. Novasep via TangenX Technology offers the first pre-sanitized, purposely built single-use tangential flow-filtration cassette for the biopharmaceutical industry. The Sius™ cassette is designed to offer comparable performance to reusable products at a fraction of the cost. Each cassette arrives pre-sanitized, ready to be equilibrated with buffer and used for tangential flow filtration processing. Each cassette is 100% integrity tested and certified for low TOC and low endotoxin. Sius™-LS cassettes are available in a range of surface areas from 0.01m² to 0.5m² and Sius™ process cassettes from 0.5m² to 5m². These cassettes have been developed using an innovative manufacturing approach that provides an efficient production process yielding a single-use cassette costing significantly less than reusable product of comparable size. Sius™ cassettes are completely interchangeable with existing cassette hardware making them an ideal choice for many TFF processes. Sius™ single-use cassettes offer exceptional economic value compared to reusable TFF cassettes.

FAQs

Is Sius validated for use in cGMP processes? YES
Sius is shipped with a CofA stating that it has met our specifications for release. Validation test data is available to our customers upon request.

Does it fit in my existing cassett holder? YES
Sius will fit all TangenX holders and those of the competition.

Will I have to modify my system to make it work? NO
The Sius operating range is similar to that of our NovaSet product line and of the competition.

What membranes are available? ALL
Sius is offered with TangenX ProStream and Hystream membranes from 1kD thru 0.2um MWCO.

How many channel types are avaiable? THREE
Sius is offered as LP Screen Channel, 0.5mm Open Channel, 1.0mm Open Channel. Both open channels are true open without restriction for viscous or particle laden fluid streams.

Is it economical for my process? YES
Sius is approximately ¼ the cost of our competition's reusable cassette and greatly saves time, resources, and raw materials needed to clean and reuse cassettes.

Is the performance comparable to that of reusable cassettes? YES
Sius performance is equivalent or better due to its patented design.
